Senior Vice President Chief Of Mission and Education Officer The Excel Center

Ron Schuyler joined the Memphis Goodwill Excel Center in October of 2022 as Senior Vice President Chief of Mission and Education Officer. He brings over 36 years of public education experience. During this time he has been a Teacher, Coach, Principal, Manager of Adult Education, and Director of Strategic Operations.  During his career, he has been recognized as an educator that has developed schools with positive cultures that give students opportunities and hope. In his new role with The Excel Center, Ron is responsible for leading the expansion of The Excel Center schools in the Memphis area as well as helping the leadership team at the current site with long-term strategic planning. Ron is an advocate of the mission of The Excel Center to provide adults the opportunity to earn a high school degree and begin their post-secondary education which lead to better career prospects and breaking the cycle of poverty.
