Memphis Goodwill Industries, Inc. was organized in June 1927 by the Board of Home Missions of the Southern Methodist Church and was incorporated on Feb. 20, 1941.

Since then, our mission has been to provide employment and readiness opportunities to disabled or less fortunate members of the Mid-South region.

Ultimately, we want to grow and nurture our area to foster healthier communities. We connect people to good jobs, good homes and good neighborhoods to reach that end. We’re not looking to provide charity. We offer a second chance.
