Contracts

Our Contracts Division employs significantly disabled individuals who, through their realization of dedication and hard work, can make significant contributions to our society while enriching their own lives. Expanding employment opportunities for these individuals helps our economy draw on the talent, creativity and work ethic of all its citizens.

Under the supervision of Goodwill, individuals employed in our Contracts Division are able to safely enter the workforce and become valuable, independent and self-sufficient members of society.

Government guidelines require at least 75 percent of employees placed from our Contracts Division in direct work hours to have a documented disability. It’s our way of helping individuals be as efficient as possible.

AbilityOne

The AbilityOne Program enables thousands of severely disabled individuals to enjoy the rewards of employment. By partnering with various not-for-profit organizations across the country, AbilityOne provides gainful employment while also using the products and services from the program to supply the Federal Government with discounted goods.

The program is the largest source of employment for blind or severely disabled people in the country, and it is the largest provider of custodial and stocking services to the U.S. Government.

Memphis Goodwill Industries is proud to be one of more than 600 not-for-profit partner agencies in the AbilityOne Program across America. For more information, please visit www.abilityone.org.
