Willie Walker
President, Memphis Goodwill Industries, Inc.
Willie Walker is originally from a small town in Mississippi, but moved to Memphis at the age of six years old. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Southwest Tennessee Community College (then called State Tech). After being discharged from the Air Force in 1973, he began a career in Building management at the Veteran’s Administration (VA). After 15 year of service at the VA, he started doing contract work for himself for 7 years. He came to Memphis Goodwill Industries INC in 1996 as an assistant project manager at the IRS facility. During his tenure with the company he has been promoted though the ranks. He now serves as president of Memphis Goodwill Industries Inc.
