Memphis Goodwill opens New Atoka Attended Donation Center

Memphis Goodwill welcomed the public to its newest Attended Donation Center in Atoka on July 22. The organization hosted a grand opening celebration with a ceremony and ribbon-cutting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sandwiches from Coletta’s were offered after the ribbon cutting ceremony. In addition, the organization gave all donors for the day a 10 percent-off coupon for purchases at the new Millington store. The new center is located at 11680 Highway 51 South, Atoka, Tn., 38004. Memphis Goodwill Industries was founded in 1927 as a territory of the nationwide Goodwill Industries movement. Today, the organization employs more than 500 people in Tennessee and Mississippi who face significant barriers to employment.
